Another Osteopathic technique called inhibition, is the gentle pressure that the SOS applies to the muscle to inhibit spasm and rigidity. In simply placing the SOS along your postural muscles and sitting against it, this inhibition process is now working. Muscle pain and spasm will now be eased away.

This Technique is used for relaxing the soft tissues of the upper neck, giving a much easier flow of fluid in and out of the cranium.
